Garden Investigation, First Meditator, and Frog Minister

FOOD & GATHERING

First Cucumber Harvest

Shveitzburne is pleased to announce the completion of its first cucumber harvest. The harvest was smaller than anticipated. As a result, we have been forced to short orders to all major retailers. Distribution partners have been notified. We understand the disruption this creates across the supply chain, and we do not take it lightly. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we thank our customers for their continued patience and support as we work to bring production back to projected levels.

COMMUNITY & SPIRIT

Our First 30 Minute Meditator

A milestone this week on the famous meditation chair, first featured in a previous Chronicle: we have our first 30 minute meditator. Aliza Roth, visiting from California, sat for a full 30 minutes in silence and without distraction, and earned herself a nice reward. We are very excited for many more to sit this long, and we are very excited for the first one hour sitter.

House policy: all visitors are encouraged to spend at least 10 minutes in silence and without distraction on this super comfortable meditation chair. Sit for 30 minutes or more and earn yourself a reward, details available on request.

VISITOR OF THE WEEK

Big T, of Miami

This week's Visitor of the Week is Big T, from Miami and dressed for the occasion. Camo waders, white tee, cowboy hat, and a look that says he knows exactly where the fish are. In related news, Eichonon is still here.

THE GARDEN INVESTIGATION

Someone Has Been Eating the Tomatoes

The scene was discovered this week in the vegetable garden: one tomato, picked clean off the vine, dragged into the mulch, and abandoned mid-bite. No confession has been offered. No witnesses have come forward. Management is treating this as an open matter. What we know: the perpetrator has teeth, an appetite, and no respect for the fence. What we do not know is everything else.

The Lineup

The following parties were all present on the property this week and have not been ruled out. No charges have been filed. The investigation continues.

Suspect 01: The Woodchuck

Alias: "The Tunnelor." Known resident of both patio colonies. His motive, means, and a documented history of unauthorized excavation. Currently not speaking to half of his own family.

Suspect 02: The Deer Delegation

Alias: "The Herd." Seen crossing the property in broad daylight, single file, without permission. Claims to have been just passing through. Four of them. All silent.

Suspect 03: The Fox

Alias: "Red." Observed moving low and fast along the fence line. Denies any interest in vegetables. Refuses to explain what he was doing out there.

Anyone with information is encouraged to write in. The Chronicles protects its sources.

Overnight Surveillance Installed

We have installed a Ring camera to monitor the property 24/7, so we do not miss out on any potential wildlife sightings throughout the evening. We hope that by Volume Four we will have published some pictures of the wildlife that wander and roam the property after chatzos halayla.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

To the Editor:

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Frog Pullout Minister at Shveitzburne Management. As a lifelong advocate for amphibian equity, I have written countless letters on behalf of turtles, salamanders, and emotionally vulnerable squirrels. Never, not once, have I witnessed such a swift and compassionate response as the installation of frog escape ramps in your community pool. This decisive action demonstrates that when we listen to nature, remarkable things can happen. In recognition of this historic achievement, I am pleased to announce that the Frog Pullout Minister will be honored at our upcoming Vegan Night Under the Stars gala. There, we will present the prestigious Pink Heart for Amphibian Justice, handcrafted from 100% sustainably sourced, carbon-neutral, ethically harvested materials, certified free of child labor, single-use plastics, and unnecessary emotional distress. Future generations of frogs, and perhaps even tadpoles yet unborn, will look back on this moment as the day humanity finally chose compassion over convenience. With gratitude, A Very Thankful Environmental Advocate
